Today, was generally pretty wet and nasty. But just before sundown, the clouds parted and revealed the mountains looming overhead.

An equally good second day. Tête Rouge • November 20, 2014

Our first day was so fun, we had to do it again. The Tête Rouge is a small peak, some 2800 meters or so, not far from, and a bit to the east of, the Grand Saint Bernard pass. It lies on the border between Switzerland and Italy. The fine north-facing descent from the summit ridge is a great day outing.
