We will be returning to the Cordillera Blanca in May and June of 2012. This year we will conduct an expedition to Chopicalqui, a 6345 meter (20,812 foot peak in the heart of the Cordillera Blanca. We begin our acclimatization with several ascents in the Ishinca area, including, Nevados Ishinca (5530 meters), Urus Este (5420 meters) and Tocllaraju (6032 meters).

As always, we welcome private trips to these and other destinations. Give us a call to discuss the various options.

Ishinca Chopicalqui	May 25 to June 11, 2012	This is a great high altitude expedition for experienced climbers. Chopicalqui is a beautiful summit in the very center of the Cordillera Blanca. To acclimate, and also for the fun of it, we'll climb several other summits in the Ishinca area, including 6032 meter Tocllaraju.
Nevado Artesonraju	special arrangement	This is a difficult expedition up a major Peruvian summit. We'll visit two areas in the Cordillera Blanca. We begin with an acclimatization ascent of Nevado Vallunaraju, then move onto the more challenging Artesonraju.

Alpamayo Huascarán	not offered for 2012	We are not offering these trips for the moment as recent increases in objective hazards are, to us, unacceptable. Read more about problems on Alpamayo and Huascarán.
