Kathy helped teach a women's Introduction to Mountaineering course for Mountaingirl in the Mont Blanc massif.

The course began with an "ecole de glace" on the Mer de Glace, with instructor Zoe Hart. Here on day 2, Zoe supervises a short roping exercise on the Aiguille de Toule.

The morning of day 3 dawned clear, and with good frozen snow for Kathy's ascent of the Aiguille d'Entreves with Iris and Christine.
