Ken has been away from the Alps for a season. This year he decided he just had to get his fix! An exploratory day out on the Vallée Blanche with Kathy.

It looked like a brief weather window in an otherwise rainy week, so we hopped on the Aiguille du Midi cable car toot sweet.

June being wet and cool, it was still skiing/boarding season for some folks!

Things started out sunny and very beautiful. Lots of others chomping at the bit to get up in the mountains at last.

Alas, it was not to last. Clouds came up quickly just as forecast.

I couldn't resist reminding Ken how many pics I have of him just like this, smiling in a snowstorm!

Coming back down to town, we realize how good we had it up there! Come back next year, Ken, hopefully we can get more done.
